Electrostatic technology has been around for decades and used in various industries. Using this technology, EMist developed and patented a disinfectant application system to render surfaces safe.
This system places a positive charge on the liquid droplets as they leave the nozzle, which spread out more evenly and seek out a negative or neutrally charged surface. The charged disinfectant droplets provide more uniform coverage with less waste, and are attracted to the surface like a magnet to cover and destroy germs where they may hide.
